Where's Tim Now?

First Yote
We started the coyote season pretty slow so far but
cold weather is now upon us. We hunted near some
standing corn where we knew the yotes would be
hunting mice and following the deer. Sure enough on
our first call of the day with machine gun Rich and
sure shot Eric we called in a pretty little female.
Eric made a fine shot at 40 yards with his new rifle
that he just bought the day before. Rich was a
little disappointed that he didn’t get to open up
with that big “black” rifle of his. Oh well, next
time.

Double Drop Tine
The snow, the cold and standing beans. What more
could you ask for? Well how about a bruiser of a
buck. I had trail cam pics of a large buck on Dad’s
farm in September but had not seen this double drop
tine giant until now. He was the last deer out and
first to leave on Sunday. I got my ace in the hole
Rich to film and off we set determined to shot this
guy on Monday. We snuck into the edge of the woods
and used the climbers to get up two wobbly trees
along his trail just inside the fence along the
beans. We had two does come under use and enter the
field. Wow, they didn’t blow but ran off when they
crossed our sent. Thank god for the Sent Killer.
Rich saw him first, and was about to vapor lock when
he turned and headed our way. The giant walked along
the fence inside the woods looking for does in the
beans but kept coming. He stopped broadside at 15
yards after hearing Rich’s camera contacting a twig.
WHACK and after a 70 yard run and a back flip off
the hillside he was mine. He will be one of the most
memorable and biggest deer that I have taken today.
I couldn’t wait to call my dad.
Coyotes
We are at it again. Coyotes in the snow, we have
tried a few sets with no luck I think they are
catching on. I am going to have to work on a better
mouse trap. Stay tuned..
King Ranch
Nice guy Kelso Currie, eh knows a thing or two about
hunting Neilguy. We hunted these elusive critters
for three days, nada. I even thought about dressing
up as a cow but decided that may not be a great
idea. We finally spot a nice cow and knew a bull
would be hidden somewhere near. We found the bull
and played hide and seek for hours. He finally
zigged when he should have zagged and I let one fly,
and fly, and fly. My eighty yard shot struck gold
and the Rage opened him up like a can opener. BULL
DOWN!

Spot and stalk
Kewi and I had been watching this huge buck work a
ridge for days. We never could get the wind just
right to plan a stalk. We knew to kill this dude we
had to have the wind right and blowing. We were not
going to take him from the sidelines and had to get
into the game. We finally had the right conditions
and hoped the buck would be in the area. We hunted
all day then BAM, he showed up mid day with his
harem. We set out and stalked in. We got only so
close when Kewi said the gig is up, I drew back and
let one fly. My Skud missle with heart seeking tip
guided in for a clean heart shot…The beast was mine.
No one will believe the shot so I guess you will
have to watch the show.
Dakotas
Kewi and I head into a swamp and flooded corn field
to spot and stalk whitetails, Tim and Kewi 2, deer
0. Watch Relentless Pursuit to see us arrow a nice
buck at 15 yards in the bull rush. I was very
excited to take this buck. It was so cool to stalk
this close to a big buck and be the ultimate
predator. Kewi thinks I should get a mask like in
the movie.
OCTOBER 09
Clintster My son
I am so proud of my family especially my kids. They
have the love for the outdoors just as I had with my
father. From my daughters Fallow to Clint being a
ham on camera (he thinks he is the real host of
Relentless Pursuit). We practice with our bows in
the yard and stalk squirrels to hone our skills. We
sometimes invite my wife to. Clint had an October of
his life. We hunted his favorite tree stand and
several ground blinds at dads farm. Clint ended his
October with two nice does and a 130 inch 8 pointer.
Mr. Cool came through in the clinch. He told mom,
look, once again this is easy. Bow hunting isn’t
rocket science. He has been wearing sunglasses
because he said the sun never sets on the
cool..Right Clint. Whatever you say.
Texas vermin with mad man Buck
I visited my old friend Buck Medley in Texas for a
little varmint hunting. Now as you may know, Buck
isn't quit right. He is a mad man in the bush. He is
a rattle snake catching alligator wrestling stud.
He’s scary. On one day I pulled off the
unimaginable. Buck called in four coyotes and I shot
three out of four with my Mathews. I was still in
awe as I looked back at buck and he gave me that
look, you know that crazy mountain man smile. Buck
later came to visit me in Illinois and killed an
awesome 8 pointer. He said he shot it with his bow
but I swear I saw teeth marks on the back of its
neck. I tried to give him my best mountain man smirk
but he said, don’t do that again, please.
Alberta Muleys
I started my big game season with Frank Wesley from
Sundown Outfitters in Alberta. Frank the “ice man”
tried a few spot and stalks on any animal he could
mule deer, rats and even some grasshoppers. Opps,
his ice had seemed to melt before my eyes. Man does
he know mule deer hunting though. I hunted with
young Hayden who left his shooting glasses at home.
You know, the ones with the big nose and bush
eyebrows. Hey we still had so much fun. Next year
Hayden. He almost was ran down by a big red bull,
cow (#5) not elk. I had finally located a buck for
myself. I was shaking as I put the stalk on him.
Step by step, oh he is in trouble now. I steady
myself and my nerves, bleat at him and he stands.
Slock my arrow connects but without waiting I am in
launch mode again and hit him on the run with my
second shot. He ran over the hill and piled up
